Patty Felkner | About
Patty Felkner was born in 1961 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She received her B.A. In English from the University of Utah. Pursuing her passion for imagery, she returned to The San Francisco Art Institute for A BFA in photography and the University of Arizona for an MFA in photography. She studying in Tucson, she worked as the assistant to the Director for Education at The Center for Creative Photography.

Currently living in Sacramento, Ms. Felkner is a Professor of Photography at Cosumnes River College. She has judged a number of photography exhibits, including A Photo Odyssey at the Sacramneto Valley Fine Art Center, and the annual travel competition for the Sacramento Bee. Ms. Felkner has also served on the critique panel for the Photo Alliance's One World Portfolio Review in San Francisco.

Her photographs have been exhibited at the Art Club Tribeca in New York City in conjunction with an on-line auction at Sothebys, Viewpoint Gallery and the Crocker Art Museum. Her images of Alcatraz were included in the recent book, Hidden Alcatraz.
